Tall Trellis Brew Co. is looking for a highly organized, motivated and experienced Taproom Manager to help lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operation of our taproom. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who notices the details, communicates exceptionally well, and gets things done . We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told about every problem. You should be able to recognize when something isn't working, determine why, develop a solution, and take the initiative to make it better. The right person will be confident and direct while still being approachable and well-liked by both our team and our customers. You should be comfortable setting expectations, holding people accountable, solving problems and making decisions while maintaining a positive, professional environment. What We're Looking For Previous management or leadership experience in a restaurant, brewery, bar or other fast-paced hospitality environment Prior experience working with the Toast backend is required Extremely detail-oriented and organized Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to be both firm and approachable Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through Able to take direction, prioritize responsibilities and complete projects without repeated follow-up Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities Able to identify inefficiencies or problems, determine potential solutions and initiate improvements Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment Ability to coordinate multiple priorities at once without losing track of the details Professional, dependable and consistent in interactions with employees and guests Willing and able to maintain the standards expected of a Tall Trellis leader whenever on-site Social media and content creation experience is a huge plus , but not required Key Responsibilities Taproom Operations & Leadership Oversee daily taproom operations and help ensure each shift runs efficiently Lead, support and communicate with bartenders, servers and other team members Establish clear expectations and follow up to ensure responsibilities are completed Help maintain opening, closing, cleaning and operational procedures Identify breakdowns in systems or processes and proactively work to improve them Troubleshoot issues and develop solutions rather than simply identifying problems Maintain a clean, organized and guest-ready taproom Help create a positive workplace while holding the team accountable to Tall Trellis standards Private Events Coordinate private events from booking through execution Communicate professionally and promptly with event hosts Keep event details organized and ensure information is clearly communicated to the appropriate team members Coordinate staffing, setup and other event needs Help ensure private events run smoothly while regular taproom operations continue Toast & Administrative Responsibilities Work confidently within the Toast backend Maintain menus, buttons, pricing and other necessary POS updates Assist with reporting and operational tracking Keep schedules, event information, procedures and other operational details organized and up to date Marketing & Content Assist with creating content highlighting our beer, events, team and taproom Capture photos and videos during events and throughout normal operations Help identify content opportunities and interesting things happening around Tall Trellis Social media experience is helpful, but we can train the right person on content creation The Person We're Looking For You don't have to be reminded multiple times to complete something.
