Job Description
Location West Monroe, LA (on-site) Salary $150,000 - $200,000 Introduction The client is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to lead an operating unit of approximately 100 employees, driving annual targets for safety, quality, efficiency, and profit. This role also manages the site leadership team to ensure development and execution of a clear strategy to achieve these goals. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Ensures all site employees are focused and measured on fulfilling strategy, goals, and commitments with a special emphasis on safety, quality, and financial performance Engages site employees to ensure everyone understands business objectives, the status of those objectives, and how individual performance impacts them Works with sales and product management regularly to fully understand customer needs regarding quality Initiates development of documented solutions to address gaps in safety, quality, and financial performance Communicates and collaborates routinely on business results and performance levels, both in groups and individually with the leadership team Promotes a high performance, collaborative, professional, and inclusive work culture with an emphasis on continuous improvement Ensures high levels of performance through operations and employees, understanding the most critical aspects of the operation and how to optimize them Recognizes and integrates AI tools and low-code technologies, including MS Copilot and MS Power Automate, into existing workflows to enhance efficiency and decision-making Creates an environment where employees are rewarded for excellent performance and corrective actions are developed for performance deficiencies Required Qualifications At least 5 years of leadership experience and 1 year of operations management Bachelor's degree with a technical or business major Well versed in operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement Proficient in MRP/ERP systems and data analytics programs, including JD Edwards, Power BI, and Pyramid BI, with the ability to run queries and compile data for business decisions Strong coaching, developing, mentoring, and leadership skills Experience in problem solving and project management Strong customer service orientation and communication skills Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and people management skills Able to work full time on-site at the West Monroe, LA facility Willing to travel domestically and internationally on occasion Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with AI and low-code technologies, including MS Copilot, Power Apps, or MS Forms or similar 4CR3
