We are looking to add a hands-on, experienced Director of Operations to help lead and scale our growing team. You'll work directly with ownership and operational leaders across multiple businesses and locations to improve systems, processes, accountability, and overall performance. To thrive in this role, you'll need to be self-motivated, resourceful, highly organized, process-oriented, and comfortable working in the field . We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, solve problems, and work directly with field teams. The right individual will play a key role in helping Dash Group grow from approximately $5-$6 million in combined revenue toward a $10 million goal by the end of 2027 , with the potential to grow into a COO-level position.
Compensation Package:
$150,000 - $175,000 target first-year total compensation Approximately 60% base / 40% performance-based compensation Simple, meaningful, and achievable performance bonus Health insurance and 401(k) currently being implemented Potential future profit participation or ownership opportunity Company vehicle, mileage reimbursement, or gas reimbursement may be provided
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the operational right hand to ownership across four home-service businesses Translate company vision into clear operational plans and execution Implement and standardize SOPs, systems, and processes Establish, track, and manage KPIs and accountability Support the acquisition and integration of plumbing and HVAC companies Work with general managers, former owners, and operational leaders Ensure each business has the right people, resources, and structure Support marketing and business-development initiatives Develop cross-selling opportunities between the companies Leverage existing customer opportunities, including approximately 150 weekly drain-service calls Step into day-to-day operations or provide hands-on management support when needed Work with ownership, bookkeepers, and the fractional CFO to understand operating results Help build a stronger, more integrated leadership structure as the company grows
Qualifications:
Home-services and leadership/operational experience required Experience in field services or skilled trades preferred Plumbing, HVAC, drain services, roofing, siding, franchising, restoration, or emergency services experience is a plus Experience implementing SOPs, systems, KPIs, and accountability Strong process and detail-oriented mindset Comfortable managing multiple businesses, locations, or priorities Comfortable working directly with field employees Must be willing to get out in the field with the team Working knowledge of P&Ls and financial objectives Business development or sales experience is a plus Independent, resourceful, and able to solve problems without constant direction Grit, scrappiness, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves Valid driver's license EOS/Integrator experience preferred but not required Ability to travel between Beverly, Middleton, Woburn, MA, and Manchester, NH Comfortable with a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends or after-hours support
