Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Waterfront Manager to lead and oversee all operations at our scenic waterfront venue. This pivotal role involves managing daily activities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising staff, and maintaining the safety and operational excellence of the waterfront. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in event management and hospitality, and a passion for delivering memorable guest services in a vibrant, outdoor setting. As Waterfront Manager, you will be the driving force behind creating a welcoming environment while ensuring smooth, efficient operations that meet our high standards. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events and activities at the waterfront venue to ensure seamless delivery and guest satisfaction Supervise and manage staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and professional team Oversee daily operational functions such as shift management, customer service delivery, cash handling, and safety protocols Maintain strict adherence to safety standards by implementing first aid and CPR procedures, conducting safety inspections, and managing emergency responses Develop and manage budgets for events and operational expenses while optimizing resources for maximum efficiency Prepare detailed reports on event outcomes, guest feedback, staffing needs, and operational performance using report writing skills Ensure excellent guest services by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to coordinate logistics for special events or large gatherings at the waterfront Requirements Proven experience in waterfront management or similar outdoor venue operations with a strong background in event management and hospitality Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising staff and managing teams effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing, scheduling, and communication purposes Strong operational management skills including shift management, budgeting, cash handling, and resource allocation Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and conflict resolution Experience in managing large-scale events or resort/restaurant environments is highly desirable Supervising experience with the ability to make sound managerial decisions quickly under pressure Technical proficiency related to safety equipment operation and venue maintenance is preferred First aid certification along with CPR training to ensure safety preparedness on-site Outstanding communication skills for managerial decision-making and team management purposes Previous assistant manager or managerial experience in hospitality or resort settings is advantageous Join us as a Waterfront Manager to inspire your team while creating unforgettable experiences for our guests!
