Job Description
A growing biotech manufacturing organization in the MetroWest area is seeking an Operations & Customer Support Manager to support both customers and internal operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where customer service, order coordination, and operational excellence are equally important. You'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure customer needs are met while helping maintain efficient day-to-day business operations. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers via phone and email, providing professional and timely support. Process customer orders, quotations, and requests while ensuring accuracy and on-time follow-up. Coordinate with manufacturing, shipping, sales, and other internal teams to facilitate order fulfillment and resolve customer inquiries. Maintain customer records, order information, and documentation within internal systems. Track order status and proactively communicate updates to customers. Prepare reports, documentation, and operational correspondence. Assist with scheduling, logistics, and cross-functional project coordination. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance both operational efficiency and the overall customer experience. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in customer service, operations, order management, or administrative support, preferably within manufacturing, life sciences, biotechnology, or a related industry. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or order management software is highly preferred. Experience supporting a manufacturing or technical environment is a plus. #RJADM45
