Job Description

Position Summary Quirk Wire is hiring a hands-on Operations and Production Manager to oversee manufacturing, scheduling,planning, quality, logistics, and maintenance. This role drives performance, aligns supporting functions, and ensures clear accountability and resource optimization. Shift Schedule Monday - Friday 1st shift
Key Responsibilities Production & People Leadership:
Manage daily multi-shift operations, resolve floor barriers, set KPIs, and foster cross-training and workforce development.
Planning & Logistics:
Align scheduling with material capacity to improve on-time delivery, manage inventory traceability, and oversee preventive maintenance.
Quality & Continuous Improvement:
Strengthen nonconformance controls, enhance ERP data discipline, and engage teams in fact-based problem-solving and process optimization.
Qualifications Required:
7+ years of manufacturing leadership, managing multi-department teams of 20+, experience in complex (high-mix/make-to-order) environments, and ERP/MRP proficiency.
Preferred:
Lean/Continuous Improvement expertise, a bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field operations management, manufacturing, engineering, business or related field. Comparable real-world experience will be considered in place of a degree. Multi-shift management, and wire/cable/extrusion industry experience.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
