Job Description
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our growing public accounting firm and play a key role in keeping our day-to-day operations running seamlessly. In this role, you'll oversee office operations, facilities, administrative processes, and vendor relationships while leading our administrative team. You'll partner closely with firm leadership to improve processes, and ensure our professionals have everything they need to deliver exceptional client service. What You'll Do As our Operations Manager, you'll: Lead and support our administrative team, ensuring excellent service and smooth daily operations. Oversee office operations, including reception, mail services, conference room coordination, office supplies, and general logistics. Manage facilities, building relationships, security access, maintenance, and vendor partnerships. Coordinate operational processes including onboarding, licensing, compliance, records management, and administrative workflows. Partner with firm leadership to improve processes and identify opportunities to increase efficiency across the organization. Support annual operational initiatives, technology implementations, and firm-wide projects. Coordinate administrative operations during tax season, helping ensure deadlines and workflows stay on track. Prepare operational communications and provide ongoing support to partners and associates. Manage purchasing, operational expenses, insurance renewals, and vendor contracts.
Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment for employees and clients alike. What We're Looking For We're seeking someone who brings: 5+ years of operations leadership experience, preferably within a professional services environment. Experience leading administrative teams and managing office operations. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. The ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach. High attention to detail, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential information. Experience working with vendors, facilities management, and operational budgets. Familiarity with public accounting operations or time and billing systems is a plus.
A bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
