Couple receives newly renovated off-site home Private Estate near South Haven, Michigan Start in Spring 2027 Exclusive Search by Harper Associates Stellar opportunity will become available in Spring 2027 for an experienced, hands-on Domestic Couple to join a private family estate on the shores of Lake Michigan in Southwest Michigan. This upcoming opening is the result of the retirement of a well-respected, long term Domestic Couple employed and deeply valued by the family. We are seeking a polished, service-oriented, and multi-skilled Domestic Couple to oversee the seamless operation, including hospitality, culinary, and maintenance needs along with presentation of a private residence. Together, they will provide extraordinary service to the principals, family, and guests while ensuring the home, grounds, vehicles, and household operations are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities include luxury hospitality and meal service, household management, property and facilities oversight, vendor coordination, guest reception, event support, errands, vehicle and grounds care, pool/beach preparation, seasonal projects, and occasional childcare and family support. The couple will work collaboratively, with flexibility to divide responsibilities according to their individual strengths. While these are very hands-on positions, there will be other staff to manage, including Spanish speaking employees. The ideal candidates are proactive, discreet, organized, hands-on, and hospitality-minded, with excellent judgment and an eye for detail. They should be adept at anticipating needs, managing changing priorities, troubleshooting problems, coordinating vendors and staff, and stepping in wherever needed to maintain a warm, polished, and welcoming environment .

Qualifications:

Prior experience working together in a private estate, luxury residence, hospitality, or similar first-class environment. One individual must be a Chef with high-end experience. Strong household, property, maintenance, and culinary experience Ability to manage vendors, staff, projects, events, and daily household operations Excellent attention to detail, organization and presentation Warm, professional, and discreet demeanor with strong communication skills Comfortable working around children and providing occasional family support Flexible with schedules, travel, seasonal demands, and special events Proficient with Microsoft Office Capable of troubleshooting basic technology issues Valid driver's licenses and solid driving history and background checks required Previous exposure to winter climate preferred Spanish speaking skills are highly desirable This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated Domestic Couple who takes pride in creating an impeccably maintained home and an exceptional experience for the principals and their guests.
