Job Description

Position Summary:
The Operations and Facilities Administrator oversees day-to-day functions of the church. This position is responsible for facilities usage and coordination, custodial supervision, building operation systems, office administration, financial process support, and other operational procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of experience in office administration, facilities coordination, supervision, or operations preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing responsibilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with standard office software (Google suite, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, spreadsheets, email, shared calendars) Experience with financial reporting preferred Demonstrated reliability and follow-through on recurring, detail-oriented tasks Ability to work independently, set priorities, exercise good judgment, and hold confidentiality
Essential Functions:
Routine Office Administration:
Manage day-to-day office operations, including emails, mail, phones, and general administrative support. Keep shared office systems and files organized and current. Support staff with routine administrative needs.
Church Facilities Management:
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security operations of church facilities and maintaining an inventory of supplies and equipment. Working closely with the Facilities Committee Chair and custodian regarding ongoing or anticipated building needs. Assist in scheduling meetings and events, facility rental, and enforcing church policies for facility use. Evaluate the church's insurance needs and ensure that policies remain current. Bulletin production and other recurring documents: Prepare, format, and produce the weekly bulletin. Maintain templates and version history so recurring documents stay accurate and up to date. Coordinate with pastors and staff to collect content and meet publication deadlines
Financial:
Responsible for partnering with the Treasurer to ensure billing, invoices, check printing, and basic accounting/reporting are maintained.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
