This is a senior-level leadership position responsible for planning, execution, team management, and client satisfaction across a portfolio of commercial properties. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all snow and ice operations across multiple commercial sites Develop and execute storm response plans, including routing, staffing, and equipment allocation Monitor weather conditions and make proactive operational decisions before and during events Supervise field supervisors, crew leaders, and subcontractors Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with subcontractors, ensuring alignment with company standards, reliability expectations, and long-term partnership growth Recruit, onboard, and manage a dependable subcontractor network to support scalable operations during peak events Ensure all services meet contractual obligations and company quality standards Manage labor, equipment, and material usage to drive profitability Communicate effectively with clients during storm events and throughout the season Oversee equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, and staging Recruit, train, and retain seasonal and full-time team members Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and risk management Off-Season Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, site visits, and relationship development with property managers and commercial clients Support sales efforts by providing operational insight, estimating input, and site evaluations Leverage existing client and subcontractor relationships to generate referrals and expand market presence Assist in contract renewals, bid preparation, and strategic growth planning for the upcoming season Evaluate past season performance and implement improvements to operations, staffing, and routing Qualifications 5+ years of experience in snow removal, construction, landscaping, or similar operations management Proven leadership experience managing large teams in time-sensitive environments Strong logistical planning and problem-solving skills Ability to make quick, high-pressure decisions during overnight and extended storm events Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships Sales mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities Excellent communication and organizational skills Familiarity with routing software, GPS tracking, and operational systems is a plus Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required) What We Offer Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses Company vehicle Opportunity to lead and shape a growing division Supportive leadership team and strong company culture Work Environment This role requires availability during irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during snow events.
