Job Description

Prescription Landscape, a Minnesota-based commercial landscape management company, is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily construction, landscape, turf, irrigation, and snow operations across the Twin Cities. This role oversees field crews, equipment, and schedules to deliver reliable, high-quality service for corporate, institutional, HOA, and multi-site clients. You will manage crew routing, job planning, safety compliance, and quality control while coordinating materials, vendors, and subcontractors. The Operations Manager trains and mentors crew leads, monitors productivity and job costs, and partners with sales and account managers to meet client expectations. This field-focused role requires quick decision-making during weather events and a strong commitment to our team-oriented, safety-focused, and customer-driven culture, with opportunities to advance into higher-level leadership. Responsibilities Oversee daily landscape, turf, irrigation, and snow operations across commercial job sites Plan, schedule, and dispatch field crews and equipment for year-round services Ensure safety standards, DOT and company compliance, and proper use of equipment Monitor job quality, productivity, and profitability against budgets and timelines Coordinate materials, vendors, and subcontractors to meet service commitments Train, coach, and develop crew leads and field staff for performance and safety Partner with sales and account managers on job start-up, scope, and client expectations Respond to weather events and adjust snow and ice management plans in real time Track labor and job costs, approve timecards, and support accurate billing Promote a team-oriented, professional culture focused on customer satisfaction Required Skills Operations management Crew scheduling and dispatch Commercial landscape maintenance Snow and ice management Job costing and budgeting Safety and OSHA compliance Vendor and subcontractor coordination Equipment and fleet coordination Customer and client communication Team leadership and staff training
