Operations Accounting Coordinator The Broadway Hotel - 5.0 Columbia, MO Job Details Full-time $19.50 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications Accounts receivable Filing Administrative experience Financial records management Accounting support Full Job Description Job Purpose The Operations Accounting Coordinator supports the hotel's daily accounting and administrative functions by helping maintain accurate records, processing routine financial tasks, and assisting with operational follow-up. This position focuses on organization, accuracy, consistency, and timely completion of recurring tasks that support both the accounting needs and day-to-day business operations of the hotel. Primary Job Function Provide coordinated support for the hotel's accounting, reporting, and administrative processes, including invoicing, billing follow-up, reconciliations, deposits, recordkeeping, payroll support, and general operational office tasks. Essential Job Functions Process invoices, check requests, and other routine accounting paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, direct billing, and city ledger follow-up. Help maintain organized financial records, files, and supporting documentation. Prepare deposits, assist with cash logs, and support safe and cash accountability procedures. Complete account reconciliations and assist in identifying discrepancies for follow-up. Support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes by gathering information and maintaining records. Assist with month-end closing tasks and provide documentation needed for corporate reporting, audits, or internal review. Review billing details, backup, and account activity for completeness and accuracy. Respond to routine billing, payment, and account questions from guests, clients, vendors, and team members. Assist with payroll-related review, reporting, and administrative support as needed. Track deadlines, recurring tasks, and outstanding items to help ensure follow-up is completed on time. Help maintain compliance with company procedures, record retention standards, and internal controls. Provide general administrative support for hotel operations. Work with department leaders and management to help resolve account, billing, or administrative issues. Identify errors or process issues and bring them to the attention of management. Perform other duties as assigned to support the accounting office and overall hotel operation.

$19.50 per hour
