As our Operations Manager, you are the heartbeat of the franchise: you keep the trucks rolling, the crews motivated, the customers smiling, and the numbers heading in the right direction. You'll run each day safely and successfully, hit our sales and profit goals, and keep us in step with our franchise agreement, system standards, and all applicable laws. You'll also help lead our Great Game of Business Profit Sharing program, where the whole team plays to win together and shares in the results. What You'll Do Champion our brand and numbers: promote and protect the brand, own the scoreboard for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly sales and profit goals, and use financial and performance reports to find wins and trim costs.
Build an all-star crew:
determine staffing needs, interview, hire, onboard and train new team members, and keep all DOT and Driver Qualification files in top shape.
Grow and coach people:
support employee development, lead fair corrective action, keep everyone accountable to franchise standards, and assist with workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
Keep us safe and rolling:
lead a strong safety culture, keep safety policies current, oversee fleet maintenance and equipment inventory, and stay compliant with DOT and FMCSA rules. Make customers say "wow": handle concerns with a cool head and oversee damage resolution so every issue is made right. Be the one who's always there: serve as the after-hours emergency contact, keep learning through

®, get involved in community and industry associations, and take on other projects assigned by the General Manager. Leading the Crew You'll guide and support all of our movers and drivers day to day. When the General Manager is out, you step up and take the wheel with delegated authority for the franchise. Who We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in business, management or a related field, and 5+ years of business, management or other relevant experience (both preferred).

A real commitment to customer service and our core values. A Day in the Life Most of your time is in the office, but this isn't a desk-only role. When we're short on movers, or when it's time to train, you'll hop on a truck and complete a move with the crew. That can mean lifting up to 100-500 pounds (with a partner or equipment for the heavier end). Travel is minimal, though it may be needed for training or to finish a move across state lines.
