Director of Patient Experience & Operations
Job Description
Active Family Chiropractic & Wellness is looking for an organized, confident, and friendly person to be the face of our front office and take ownership of the administrative side of our practice. This isn't your typical front desk job. You'll know our families, keep the day running smoothly, oversee our VA and administrative systems, manage insurance and billing, and be the person who can say, "I'll figure it out." Our office is busy, family-centered, and sometimes a little loud—in the best way. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people and kids, doesn't get overwhelmed easily, and can balance great customer service with confident communication and clear boundaries. What you'll do: Check patients in/out, schedule appointments, answer phones and handle payments Manage insurance billing, claims, rejections, patient balances and credentialing Supervise and train our VA and future administrative staff Delegate tasks and manage schedules, time off and performance concerns Keep office procedures, SOPs and training materials current Troubleshoot office systems including Jane, Claim.
MD, phones and internet Manage inventory, ordering, vendors and general office operations Assist with social media, workshops and occasional community events We're looking for someone who: Is highly organized, detail-oriented and dependable Communicates confidently and kindly—even during difficult conversations Takes initiative and tries to solve problems before asking someone else to solve them Can lead, delegate and hold others accountable Handles a busy environment without becoming easily overwhelmed Enjoys improving systems and making an office run better Genuinely enjoys working with families and children Healthcare, billing or management experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person. Strong leadership, organization and a willingness to learn matter most.

Schedule:
M/W 7:30am-5pm | T/Th 9am-3pm | Fri 9am-1pm Approximately 29-32 hours/week.Benefits:
