Job Description
Overview A strong Sterile Processing professional with proven supervisory/management experience, excellent leadership skills, and the required
CRCST + CER
certifications .
Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate daily Sterile Processing Department operations, staffing, and workflow. Manage staff scheduling, training, coaching, payroll, and professional development. Ensure department operations comply with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards. Monitor departmental performance, quality metrics, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, training programs, and staff competencies. Collaborate closely with Surgical Services and other hospital departments to ensure efficient operations. Oversee departmental resources, purchasing, inventory, and operational needs. Provide strong leadership, guidance, training, and ongoing support to Sterile Processing staff.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) CER
•Certified Endoscope Reprocessor required Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience Active certification/license as applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field Surgical Technology program graduate CIS
•Certified Instrument Specialist 2 years of healthcare experience in Surgical Services and/or
Sterile Processing Pay:
$1,700.00
•$2,100.00 per week
