The Hemp Collect is growing fast, and our Canton manufacturing operation is at the center of that growth. We are looking for a Director of Operations who can run the operation end to end today while building the systems, leaders, and accountability needed for tomorrow.

What You'll Do:

Own Production & Throughput Own daily production output across production, packaging, and filling. Establish and manage units-per-hour targets and the incentive structure connected to them. Build production schedules around demand, inventory, labor, and laboratory capacity. Identify and remove the constraints keeping teams from hitting production goals. Drive continuous improvement in changeover time, scrap and waste, line balance, and labor productivity. Build the staffing model, shift structure, training pipeline, and leadership structure needed to scale the packaging organization. Own Inventory & Supply Own inventory accuracy, PAR levels, cycle-count discipline, and transaction integrity. Oversee purchasing and supply planning through the Inventory Control Manager and Inventory Data Analyst. Ensure raw materials, components, packaging, and finished goods are available when needed. Balance availability with working capital by preventing both production-stopping stockouts and unnecessary overbuying. Use data to identify supply risks before they become production problems. Protect Quality, Compliance & Laboratory Operations Oversee the Formulation Supervisor and laboratory team across formulation, R&D support, and quality coordination. Partner with Product Dev team to coordinate on new launches and SKU pages outs

• Maintain the independence and integrity of quality operations. Ensure GMP practices, batch records, labeling, retains, and audit readiness remain at a high standard. Partner with Product Development and laboratory leadership to keep testing and product release moving. Maintain a culture where quality and compliance are never compromised for speed. Lead Fulfillment & Facility Operations Oversee B2B and DTC fulfillment through the Facilities & Logistics Manager. Own pick, pack, shipping accuracy, on-time delivery, and carrier compliance. Maintain equipment uptime, facility safety, maintenance, and overall operational readiness. Partner with leadership on capital planning and investments that improve capacity, efficiency, and reliability. Build the Leadership Team Establish clear goals, KPIs, expectations, and accountability rhythms. Coach managers through performance, communication, delegation, and decision-making. Address performance issues directly and consistently. Build internal career paths from production and packaging roles into lead and supervisor positions. Create cross-training and succession plans that strengthen the operation. Partner with HR on hiring and organizational planning. Build a culture where people understand what success looks like and have the support to achieve it. What You Bring 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or operations. Experience leading multiple functions and multiple layers of management. Demonstrated experience managing and developing managers. Experience in a regulated or quality-controlled manufacturing environment such as GMP, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, supplements, cannabis, hemp, or a comparable industry. Experience improving throughput, productivity, quality, and cost in an hourly workforce environment. Hands-on experience with an MRP, ERP, WMS, or comparable operational system. Experience with Katana is a plus. Strong understanding of inventory management and production planning. Comfort using operational data and KPIs to make decisions and hold teams accountable. A hands-on leadership style and willingness to spend the majority of your time on the production floor. Must be 21+ and comfortable working in the hemp-derived cannabinoid industry. Why Work With Us? Age Requirement:

21+ This role operates in a manufacturing, laboratory, and warehouse environment. The position requires regular standing and walking, use of hands to operate equipment and handle materials, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. PPE is required in designated production, laboratory, and shipping areas.

From $115,000.00 per year
