Job Overview Proehlific Park is seeking an experienced and highly organized Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operational integrity of the facility and grounds. This position will have primary responsibility for ensuring that all indoor and outdoor spaces are maintained to the highest standards of appearance, cleanliness, functionality, and safety. The Director of Operations will provide direct oversight of the condition and upkeep of Proehlific Park's buildings, athletic fields, equipment, common areas, and surrounding grounds. This individual will coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, cleaning, landscaping, and facility safety while working closely with staff, vendors, contractors, and leadership to ensure the park remains a welcoming, safe, and well-maintained environment for athletes, families, guests, and community partners. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who takes pride in maintaining exceptional facilities, is proactive in identifying and resolving operational issues, and can effectively manage multiple priorities in a busy, event-driven environment. Duties

• Proactively manage the facility maintenance for all buildings, ensuring proper function, upkeep, safety and longevity. This includes the coordination of inspections for the following: HVAC system Fire Alarm Sprinkler Lighting Scoreboards Indoor Turf Field Elevator Vehicles
• Proactively manage and coordinate exterior common areas and fields ensuring proper function, upkeep, safety and longevity.

This includes the following:

Fields-Soccer and Baseball Parking lot Common areas Fencing Lighting Playground All storage areas Outdoor Equipment

• Coordinate use of all assigned athletic facilities by managing and developing a team to make sure space is ready for events. Ensure that facilities are set up and ready for all events.
• Responsible for securing the facilities at the end of nightly events as well as creating a standard for building cleanliness.
• Organize and maintain all equipment storage areas.
• Maintain relationships with appropriate regulatory groups to make sure we are in compliance with rules and the following regulations: Fire Code Elevator Compliance Water Shed Compliance Vehicle Inspections
• The Director of Operations will be out in the facility and on the fields every day, making sure everything is clean, safe, functional, and ready for athletes, families, teams, and events.

Whether it's helping with field maintenance, addressing a facility issue, moving equipment, troubleshooting a problem, or jumping in to help the team, the Director of Operations should be someone who takes ownership and is willing to jump in wherever needed to keep Proehlific Park safe, clean, functional, and ready for action. Experience The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in facility operations, sports/recreation facilities, athletic complexes, grounds maintenance, building maintenance, or a similar hands-on environment. Experience working with athletic fields, indoor sports spaces, event facilities, landscaping, cleaning, equipment, and general building maintenance is highly preferred. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, notices the little things, and takes pride in the facility. The right candidate is a problem-solver who doesn't wait to be told something needs attention, rather, they see it, address it, and follow through. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and a genuine appreciation for sports and well-maintained facilities are essential. Weekends are a high-profile and especially busy part of operations at Proehlific Park. Weekend availability is required for this position, with a schedule that may vary based on tournaments, events, facility needs, and overall park activity. The Director of Operations should be comfortable being present and hands-on during peak weekend hours to ensure the Park is safe, clean, well-maintained, and ready for athletes, teams, and guests. Salary pay is based on experience.
