Operations Manager Position SummarySirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, production performance, and continuous improvement initiatives in Whitsett, NC. This role is responsible for meeting production goals, developing manufacturing teams, improving processes, and partnering with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production. Key ResponsibilitiesDirect daily manufacturing and production activities to meet output, quality, cost, and delivery goals. Adjust production schedules and resources based on demand, staffing, equipment availability, and operational issues. Identify production bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate manufacturing employees and frontline leaders. Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company requirements. Partner with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production issues and maintain efficient product flow. Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, throughput, quality/defects, cost, and overall operational performance. Drive corrective actions and process improvements based on performance data. Communicate manufacturing/program status, operational risks, performance, and financial health to executive leadership and clients. Support cost-control initiatives while maintaining production and quality standards. EducationBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA or advanced degree in Project Management, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Sirius Staffing is an equal-opportunity employer.
