to WORK in 2022 thru 2026 as published in NJBIZ! Signature Safety is looking to fill a full-time Assistant Field Operations Manager The field-based extension of the Director of Field Operations. Responsible for day-to-day oversight of an assigned group of

HSMs:

regular site visits, performance monitoring, and client satisfaction checks. Serves as the first point of contact for resolving on-site issues between HSMs and clients before they require the Director's involvement. Key Responsibilities Conduct scheduled and unannounced site visits to each assigned HSM on a defined minimum cadence (e.g., biweekly). Observe HSM job performance against Signature Safety standards and client contract requirements; document findings after every visit. Meet with client site leadership during visits to check satisfaction and surface concerns before they escalate. Serve as first responder to on-site conflicts between an HSM and a client; resolve directly when possible, escalate to the Director when unresolved or high-risk. Coach and mentor assigned HSMs; provide on-the-job training and corrective guidance. Draft performance observations and review input for the Director's use in formal HSM reviews — does not conduct or sign final reviews. Flag compliance gaps, safety concerns, or client dissatisfaction trends to the Director immediately. Support onboarding of newly placed HSMs at client sites. Communicate scheduling conflicts, coverage needs, or site changes to the Operations & Logistics Manager — does not independently reassign or schedule HSMs. Maintain visit logs and submit reporting per company standards.

Experience:

construction/industrial: 5 years (Required) HSM or site safety supervisor: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

OSHA 510

(Preferred)

OSHA 500
