Summary:
The Senior Site Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating program activities, and ensuring efficient service delivery. This position provides leadership, supervision, and support to site staff while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, funding requirements, and applicable regulations. The Senior Site Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for site operations and plays a key role in planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs and services, including financial oversight, cultural integration, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of assigned site(s) to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Supervise, train, and evaluate site staff, including scheduling and performance management. Coordinate and implement program activities in alignment with organizational goals and funding requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for site-related issues, including staff, participants, and community partners. Monitor program performance, track outcomes, and prepare required reports. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of site procedures and operational improvements. Manage site logistics, including supplies, equipment, and facility coordination. Oversee budget development for the site/program, including planning, forecasting, and alignment with program goals. Monitor and track expenditures to ensure all spending remains within approved budget parameters. Review and approve site-level purchases in accordance with budget line items and organizational policies. Prepare and submit budget reports, projections, and justifications to leadership as required. Identify, research, and pursue additional funding sources, including grants and partnerships, to support program sustainability and growth. Assist with grant applications, reporting requirements, and compliance with funded programs. Develop, plan, and implement engaging activities and programs for the center that meet the needs of the community and participants. Incorporate cultural activities, traditions, and community values into programming to promote cultural awareness and preservation. Work collaboratively with staff to integrate cultural education and awareness into daily operations and services. Coordinate with cultural leaders, elders, and community members to support culturally relevant programming and events. Ensure activities promote inclusivity, participation, and overall well-being of participants. Evaluate program effectiveness and make improvements based on feedback and participation outcomes. Address and resolve operational issues, conflicts, and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data reporting systems. Foster a positive, professional, and culturally respectful environment for staff and participants. Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning and program development. Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of budgeting, financial tracking, and grant management processes. Ability to develop and implement community-based and culturally relevant programs. Understanding and respect for tribal culture, traditions, and community values. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking systems. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to always maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in public administration, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field; Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience in program coordination, site management, or a related field. Or a combination of education and relevant experience. At least two (2) years supervisory experience. Must posses a NV Driver's license Must be insurable under the Tribe's Insurance policy Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test Must successfully pass a background check
