Job Description

Job Summary:
The Operations Director oversees all aspects of Assembly & Test ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across functions. This role leads supervisors and cross-functional teams, drives continuous improvement, and aligns operations with business objectives.
What you will do:
Lead a team to build and ship quality product on time Align personnel & skills to the product build Collaborate on production issues timely and in full Collaborate on customer expedites Meet scheduled due dates with quality product Support productivity Promote and practice concurrent engineering Deliver accountability through tiered standup meetings focused on increasing throughput Write, implement, and audit policies and procedures related to Safety, Quality, and Processes Implement lean product and process methodologies such as work cell and pull models Lead and manage operational activities across Assembly & Test to meet customer and business requirements. Develop and execute integrated schedules and resource plans for multiple functions. Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Drive productivity and efficiency improvement initiatives across operations. Collaborate with support functions to resolve issues and optimize processes. Manage budgets, KPIs, and operational performance metrics for all functional areas. Coach, develop, train, and manage performance of supervisors and team leaders. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field. Minimum 7 years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing. Proven leadership in managing production teams, KPI's and budgets. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ERP systems. Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Vision :
Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of manufactured parts and reading information from printed sources and computer screens. Must be able to work on a computer for long periods of time.
Other :
Requires frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20 pounds unassisted, including assisting co-workers when required. Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite manufacturing duties. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
