full-time Company Description Suhru & Lieb Vineyards is a 54-acre Certified Sustainable vineyard located on the North Fork of Long Island in Cutchogue, New York. The team is dedicated to producing high-quality wines through sustainable farming, responsible business practices, and minimal intervention winemaking. Suhru & Lieb wines are distributed in more than 14 states and shipped directly to over 40 states across the U.S., offering broad access to their portfolio. The Tasting Room, overlooking vineyards and surrounding farmland, provides guests with a scenic and immersive wine experience, making it a key destination on the East End for wine enthusiasts. Role Description Suhru & Lieb Vineyards is looking for an experienced, passionate Wine Educator to join our growing team on the North Fork of Long Island, NY. This is not an entry-level tasting room position. We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in wine knowledge, exceptional hospitality skills, and the confidence to engage with everyone-from first-time visitors to seasoned collectors. This role combines fast-paced tasting room service with the opportunity to lead private tastings for our Wine Club members, VIP guests, and private groups. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable serving a busy tasting room as they are confidently discussing wine styles, winemaking, food pairings, the North Fork AVA, and the stories behind our wines. This is an in-person sales & hospitality. What we're looking for: Minimum 2 years' experience in a winery, tasting room, wine retail, restaurant, or hospitality environment. Strong wine knowledge and excellent communication skills. WSET Level 2 or higher (or equivalent wine qualification) is highly desirable. A genuine passion for wine and creating memorable guest experiences. Weekend and holiday availability. Why join us? Competitive hourly pay starting at $18/hour. High tip earning potential, commission, and performance incentives. Employee wine discounts and paid training. A supportive team culture with opportunities to continue developing your wine knowledge.
