Tasting Room Associate

Magnus Ridge Winery, located in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of New York, seeks a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our tasting room staff. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with our knowledgeable and passionate staff to provide exceptional customer service to our guests. You will be responsible for hosting wine tastings, sharing your knowledge about our wines and the winemaking process, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome visitors to the tasting room Conduct wine tastings and provide detailed information about each wine Educate guests about the winemaking process, the history of the winery, and the Finger Lakes region Assist guests with wine purchases Maintain a clean and organized tasting room Work with the tasting room team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service Participate in wine inventory management and restocking of tasting room supplies Promote and represent Magnus Ridge Winery in a positive and professional manner Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines

Requirements:

Knowledge of wine and winemaking process Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work weekends Flexibility to work holidays and occasional evening events Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
