Job Description

Keystone Retreat is hiring a full-time Director of Operations to support daily operations at our residential substance use treatment facility in Ephrata, PA. Keystone Retreat is not affiliated with the previous company or prior operations that resided at this location. We are looking for a strong, hands-on leader who can support a safe, organized, and therapeutic environment for both clients and staff. This role oversees daily facility operations, staffing, scheduling, team accountability, compliance support, and coordination across departments. The Director of Operations will work closely with leadership, clinical, medical, and support teams to ensure smooth program operations, strong communication, and high-quality client care.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide daily leadership and support to the Operations team Oversee staffing, scheduling, performance, and department coverage Support safety, compliance, training, and quality improvement efforts Collaborate with leadership and department teams to maintain smooth operations Respond to emergencies, staffing needs, and facility concerns as needed Help maintain a clean, safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment Support client engagement, crisis response, and de-escalation when needed
Minimum Requirements:
Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Behavioral Health, or related field; or equivalent experience Leadership experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or a related setting preferred Valid driver's license Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Successful completion of background check, drug screen, and TB test Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support facility operations
