Job Description

Position Overview

The Wallingford-Swarthmore SD is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented District Assessment Coordinator. This individual will oversee the administration, security, logistics, and associated training of all state-mandated and district-level assessments. The coordinator ensures full compliance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations while supporting data-driven instruction across all school buildings.

Note:

The responsibilities associated with this position would ordinarily be assigned to the currently vacant position of Secondary Supervisor of OTLI. Accordingly, a temporary TOSA position is being posted for the 2026-2027 school year and will end June 30, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

Test Administration:

Serve as the primary District Assessment Coordinator (DAC) for all state testing, including PSSA, Keystone Exams, PASA, and ACCESS for ELLs.

Compliance & Security:

Ensure strict adherence to PDE test security protocols, maintain accurate student rosters, and manage the secure receipt and distribution of testing materials.

Training:

Plan and deliver comprehensive training for School Assessment Coordinators (SACs), principals, and test proctors.

Qualifications & Preferences

School Assessment Coordinator and/or State Assessment Experience preferred.

The District retains the right to screen, interview, and hire this position prior to the closing date on the posting.
