About the Role We've been a family-owned Berks County plumbing & electrical business for more than 30 years. Our roots are residential and commercial plumbing — that's still the core of what we do every day — and we've grown into heating and electrical services, plus specialty work on large water-use projects for dairy and agricultural customers that most shops can't touch. We're under new management and modernizing: better systems, better tools, and a real investment in the people running them. It's a good moment to join. What You'll Do Answer inbound calls and schedule residential and commercial service work in Housecall Pro (our field services and scheduling system) Help our marketing efforts by responding fast to new inquiries from our website, calls, and advertising Help us improve our marketing — you'll hear what customers actually respond to, and we want your ideas on it Call customers proactively: confirmations, arrival windows, open estimate follow-ups, etc. Close out completed jobs in Housecall Pro and issue accurate customer invoices Place material orders with supply houses, track lead times, and chase late deliveries Keep inventory stocked so techs aren't hunting for parts they should have Maintain order records and trackers in Google Sheets What We're Looking For Relentlessly organized — you run on lists and systems, not memory You're a doer — you'd rather fix it than report that something is broken You take responsibility without being asked You learn software fast and aren't intimidated by a system you've never seen Strong phone presence: clear, warm, and willing to make the awkward call Organized under interruption; five open threads, none dropped Comfortable with numbers: invoices, quantities, prices, balances Trades experience is a big plus, not a requirement — we'll teach you. Experience in a similar coordinating or dispatch role is also a plus.
