• FTE•1 •Job Description•York Hospital Diagnostic Radiology•Full Time (80 hours/pay period)•Day/Evening•Mon-Fri, 8:30a-4:30/5:00p (cross-over to when the 2nd shift team starts); supervisor on-call duties 4 weeks/year•General Summary•Supervises personnel and assists in managing the Imaging Department daily operations.

• + Reviews and evaluates completed work for quality and completeness. + Implements and oversees new procedures and related protocols. + Compiles data for and prepares regularly scheduled or special reports, analyses and statements.
• Common Expectations:
• + Selects, trains/orients, assigns department staff, evaluates performance, and makes recommendations for personnel actions.

+ Responsible for the care and maintenance of department/entity equipment and supplies.

+ Ensures that preventative maintenance is performed according to the established schedule.

+ Manages resources within budgetary guidelines.

+ Demonstrates a commitment to patient, visitor and staff by: complying with all applicable safety regulations; learning the impact of medical errors and methodology that will lead to reduction of errors; reporting actual and potential errors, as well as hazardous conditions; identifying opportunities to standardize processes and "error proof" systems that will lead to increased safety; and participating in safety education programs and root cause analyses as required.

+ Maintains established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, safety, environmental and infection control standards.

+ Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, inservice meetings, and workshops.

+ Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
