Are you an experienced field operations leader who knows how to lead people, manage complex deployments, and keep customers and projects moving? Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative conveyorized car wash equipment, technology, and related products. We are seeking an experienced Field Manager to lead field deployment and technology operations across multiple locations and regions. This position works directly under the Director of Controls and will lead a team of approximately 30 field technicians responsible for deploying and supporting the company's technology and controls systems, including POS systems, mobile applications, computer systems, and related technology . This is a highly visible leadership position for someone who can build a strong team, create accountability, solve problems in the field, and drive consistent execution. What You'll Do Lead and manage approximately 30 field technicians across multiple regions. Provide strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Establish clear expectations and accountability while building a culture of professionalism and operational excellence. Lead field deployment, conversion, installation, and technology implementation projects. Manage daily technician scheduling, dispatch, resource allocation, and utilization. Coordinate field resources to ensure projects are properly staffed and completed on schedule. Oversee deployment and implementation of POS systems, mobile applications, computer systems, and other technology solutions . Ensure customer locations are fully operational, tested, documented, and properly transitioned before technicians leave the site. Serve as the escalation point for field issues and customer-impacting operational challenges. Work closely with Logistics, Engineering, Technical Support, and Project Management teams to ensure successful deployments. Establish and monitor KPIs related to deployment timelines, installation quality, technician performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Conduct field evaluations and operational reviews to identify opportunities for improvement. Drive first-time-right installations and reduce rework, delays, and customer disruptions. Develop standardized field procedures, workflows, and deployment practices. Support technician onboarding, workforce planning, scheduling, and professional development. Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and field execution. Ensure field teams follow company safety requirements, technical procedures, and operational standards. Travel approximately 25% or more , including approximately 1-2 weeks per month on the road . Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Technology, Operations, Engineering, or a related field . 5+ years of progressive experience in field operations, technical services, deployment management, or operational leadership. Proven leadership experience managing people and developing high-performing teams. Experience managing a field-based technical workforce strongly preferred. Experience managing multiple projects, locations, or regions. Experience with technology deployments, computer systems, POS systems, applications, or related technical implementations preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to effectively prioritize competing projects and resources. Strong problem-solving and escalation-management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with customers, technicians, engineering teams, logistics, and senior leadership. Comfortable traveling 25%+ , including extended periods in the field. Demonstrated ability to create accountability while maintaining strong employee relationships. A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a proven people leader first .
