Conduct interviews for potential hires, evaluate candidates' suitability, and participate in the hiring process. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and manage cash handling procedures accurately. Monitor inventory levels, control stock movement, and optimize purchasing decisions to maximize profitability. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, pricing adjustments, and reporting. Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours and special promotions. Conduct regular management meetings to communicate goals, review performance metrics, and address operational challenges. Enforce store policies related to cashiering, customer interactions, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards. Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales growth. Maintain organizational records related to sales reports, incident logs, inventory audits, and employee documentation. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or operations management within a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team management and supervisory experience. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control software, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping principles. Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales analysis, and budgeting techniques. Ability to handle negotiations with vendors or suppliers effectively. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Experience with recruiting processes such as interviewing and onboarding new employees. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and administrative tasks. Customer service-oriented mindset with phone etiquette skills for engaging clients professionally. Familiarity with retail industry sales team management practices including merchandising and marketing strategies. Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, cashiering duties, and sales calculations. Previous experience in grocery stores or wireless retail environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
