We are looking for a Lead Assistant Instructor who is excited and enthusiastic about working with children and interfacing with parents. The ideal candidate has the following skills: Comfortable with technology (navigating an iPad or Samsung tablet) Reliable and can adhere to the scheduled days/times of work Available between the hours of 3-7pm on most weekdays Attention to detail Team-oriented Strong communication via email/phone/in-person Enjoys working with children of all ages Strong ability to multi-task Strong ability to encourage children with praise and positive reinforcement Experience with children preferred, not required Job requirements include, but not limited to: Working one-on-one with students between the ages of 3 - 16 Grading student math & reading homework using answer books Communicating with parents and students on their needs and sharing progress updates Organizing the orientation materials and schedule Specifically, we need someone who will be available to arrive on time to open at 4pm on Mondays, and 3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. This part-time position pays between $15 - $17/hour depending on qualifications. The pay schedule is once a month on the 1st of the month. Please only apply if you are comfortable with this.
