About the Role A well-established and growing home services company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and grow its HVAC, Plumbing, and Call Center divisions. This leadership role will have full responsibility for team leadership, service delivery, and departmental performance. The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, drive revenue and margin growth, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. What You'll Do Provide overall leadership, coordination, and oversight of Plumbing and HVAC service and installation operations, as well as Call Center performance. Own department P&L performance, monitoring results against budget and driving revenue, margin, and efficiency improvements. Maintain and promote a safe working environment while ensuring compliance with all safety policies and regulations. Oversee scheduling and dispatch for technicians, installers, apprentices, and support staff to meet demand and optimize productivity. Review and approve timesheets, service tickets, job packets, and related documentation for accuracy and completeness. Support field teams with technical guidance, troubleshooting, customer issue resolution, and escalation management. Identify training needs and coordinate technical, operational, and sales training for Plumbing and HVAC teams. Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard key Operations roles, including lead installers, service technicians, apprentices, and supervisors. Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable to performance KPIs, quality standards, and customer service expectations. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance workflow, communication, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate closely with Sales, CSR/Dispatch, and leadership to align on goals, promotions, and capacity planning. Prepare and manage monthly and annual forecasts for the Plumbing and HVAC departments and report results to executive leadership. What You Bring Proven experience in Operations, Service, or Branch Management within Plumbing and/or HVAC or closely related trades. Demonstrated success leading multi-million-dollar service operations, including responsibility for P&L and KPI performance. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate field and office teams. Solid understanding of residential service workflows, including dispatch, service tickets, installations, maintenance plans, and customer follow-up. Experience with ServiceTitan or similar service management software preferred. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment. Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $80,000-$100,000+, depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus opportunities. Paid time off and paid holidays. 401(k) with company match.
