Job Description

I.
Objective:
To help fulfill the mission and vision of Signarama of Charleston by overseeing the operational engine of our company to ensure that we deliver top-quality signage on time, every time, efficiently and profitably. (We're looking for a rockstar sign management professional to be the owner's "right-hand person" who will lead the design, production and installation teams.) II. Expected Results 1. Assume responsibility for all design, production and installation aspects of our business and reduce owner's involvement in day-to-day operations to near zero. This will include production scheduling, purchasing decisions, workflow management, staffing coordination, quality control, and project execution. 2.
Team Leadership:
Grow and lead a dream-team of sign professionals. 3.
Labor & Profitability:
Keep overtime at or below target and maintain gross margin at or above target. 4.
On-Time Delivery:
Complete 95%+ of all jobs on time 5. Systems /
Training:
Document key procedures, and develop a complete training program within 9 months of hire. 6.
Cross-Training:
Provide documentation of identified and trained backup for every key design, production, and installation role within 9 months of hire. 7.
Dashboard:
Implement daily, weekly, and monthly operational dashboards for design, production, and installation within 30 days of hire. III. The Profile 1. Education and Experience Qualifications a. Proven experience managing operations within the signage industry b. Strong leadership and management skills c. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities 2. Culture Qualifications a. Practices attention to detail and notices and attends to every element of a task or project so nothing gets overlooked b. Hustles and works with speed, energy and purpose to get the task in front of them done c. Pursues excellence in all their endeavors. d. Other Qualifications a. Thrives on getting things done / making things happen through teamwork b. Loves project and people management c. Communicates clearly and effectively, in writing and in person d. Multitasks and manages several projects at once without losing quality e. Possesses strong computer skills to help analyze data and share directly in written form (MS Office and email applications, Core Bridge, Company Cam, etc.) f. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
