The Shuttle Operations, Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting and, when delegated, leading the overall management of a parking facility. This role supervises staff, manages operational processes, and exercises independent judgment in staffing, client relations, and financial performance. The Assistant Manager acts as second-in-command and assumes full operational responsibility in the absence of the Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage location staff, including delegating tasks, coaching, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Participate in hiring decisions, including interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new employees; make recommendations for promotions and terminations.
- Assist in scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and property managers when delegated; attend meetings and resolve client concerns to maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor and manage facility maintenance and safety standards, including overseeing maintenance projects and ensuring timely completion.
- Manage daily shuttle operations, ensuring timely and safe transportation services across designated routes and schedules.
- Lead and support shuttle drivers, ensuring adherence to company policies, customer service standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee a 24/7 operational location, ensuring continuous service delivery, shift coverage, and operational excellence across all hours.
- Review and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operating reports; make operational adjustments to achieve budget goals and improve profitability.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in resolving escalated guest concerns, operational issues, and staffing challenges.
- Respond to incidents and accidents promptly, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and reporting requirements.
- Communicate professionally with guests, clients, and team members at all times.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in transportation, parking, or related operations.
- Valid Driver License and good driving record.
- Valid Medical Examiner Certificate
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, MVR check, and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security.
