Description:
Southall is a premier destination bringing nature, produce and people together in a powerful and unique way. The Activities Operations Coordinator will facilitate the guest-tailored outdoor programming around Southall property. Programs include Aerial Adventure Course, Guided Hikes, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Archery, Axe Throwing, Fishing, Canoeing, and more. Southall Staff aim to provide 5-star level experience in all aspects of their interactions with guests. Responsibilities Provides a safe, welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff Train and develop Southall programs and staff Leads Service Harmonies participation and execution Provides backup support for new program development (focus-specific initiatives) Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies for all activities Oversees ropes training and certifications, ensuring safety compliance and operational readiness Operational support of Program Guides in facilitation of programming and transporting of guest Coordinate Team Quest programming Oversee opening and/or closing duties Facilitation of Southall programming with an emphasis on safety, education, and unique experiences Leads staff activities coordination Assist with communication and scheduling of user groups and guests Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by
Southall Leadership Requirements:
1 year of experience supervising and supporting staff 2 years of experience teaching or facilitating experiential programs Previous hospitality and customer service experience A deep appreciation for nature and serving others Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, recreation, business management or other relevant fields CPR/AED & First Aid certification within 30 days of starting employment Must be able to push, pull and lift 50 lbs Available to work weekends, evenings and/or holidays Must be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods as needed and able to work in all weather conditions This position spends the majority of the day outdoors and moving throughout the property Our Benefits Competitive compensation package Medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, company-provided life insurance Generous paid time off accruals 9 paid holidays annually Weekly Pay 401k and company match Education reimbursement Best-in-class Employee Assistance Program Free weekly outdoor activities and wellness classes Our Team Assembled intentionally with dynamic expertise, the Southall team is offered the unique opportunity to learn humbly with, and from, each other.
