- The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the labor and equipment of the assigned warehouse department, ensuring timely completion and quality of orders.
YOUR TASKS
- + Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for the department + Supervise and coordinate activities of employees and monitor departmental functions on the floor + Receive and transfer materials + Performance management of all employees (KPIs) + Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed + Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department + Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements + Update and maintain timekeeping and metrics in business systems, as they relate to WMS reporting + Ensure that shift-end specific department procedures with all systems are completed and floor end-of-shift closeout is followed + New customer integration and migration testing + Load and unload trucks + Understand traffic coordination + Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements + Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations + Follow and maintain 5S Program and guidelines + Perform any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment •Qualifications•+ High School Diploma or Equivalent + Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment + Knowledge of picking, packing, and shipping tasks + SAP or equivalent WMS systems experience + 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or equivalent work experience + Ability to follow instructions, processes, and procedures + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong attention to detail, accuracy and analytical skills + Computer literacy + Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills + Experience with inventory research + Team-oriented + Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, notably Excel •Additional Information•+ Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Pay.
