Overview The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating daily operational activities to ensure safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction objectives are achieved. This position leads production teams, develops operational strategies, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Operational Leadership Manage and oversee daily operations to meet production schedules and customer delivery requirements. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity. Establish department objectives and ensure alignment with company goals. Lead operational meetings and communicate performance expectations to department leaders. Team Management Direct, coach, and develop supervisors, team leaders, and production personnel. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Support workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives. Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and accountability. Ensure adequate staffing levels to support operational requirements. Continuous Improvement Lead Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and lower operating costs. Analyze operational data and develop corrective actions to address performance gaps. Support problem-solving activities utilizing root cause analysis methodologies. Quality and Compliance Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements, quality standards, and company policies. Support and maintain quality management systems including

IATF 16949, ISO

9001, or other applicable standards. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions related to operational issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental requirements. Financial Management Develop and manage departmental budgets. Monitor labor, material, and operational costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service levels. Support capital expenditure planning and implementation projects. Customer and Supplier Support Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to meet service expectations. Support new product launches and operational readiness activities. Work with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience 5+ years of operations leadership or manufacturing management experience. Experience managing multiple departments and large employee groups. Automotive manufacturing experience preferred. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong leadership and decision-making skills. Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
