Job Description
Tasting Room Manager Position Summary Formando Vineyards is seeking an experienced, hospitality-focused Tasting Room Manager to lead the daily front-of-house operations and create exceptional guest experiences. This position is responsible for the overall success of the tasting room, including guest service, staff leadership, reservations, daily operations, wine club hospitality, and event execution. The Tasting Room Manager will lead by example on the floor, coach and develop the hospitality team, and ensure every guest receives warm, genuine Texas hospitality. Working closely with the Operations Manager, Kitchen Team, and Wine Club & Marketing Coordinator, this role plays a key part in bringing Formando's hospitality vision to life. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, service-driven, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences.
Compensation Salary:
$50,000-$60,000 annuallyReports To:
Operations Manager Key Responsibilities- Lead all daily tasting room operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop the front-of-house team, fostering a culture of hospitality and accountability.
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules, monitor labor, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, reservations, guest flow, POS accuracy, cash handling, inventory, and operational readiness.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and service while professionally resolving guest concerns.
- Plan and execute winery events, wine club experiences, private events, and live music in collaboration with the General Manager, Kitchen Lead, and Wine Club & Marketing Coordinator.
- Support Wine Club growth by creating memorable member experiences and encouraging club memberships. Qualifications
- 2+ years of hospitality, tasting room, restaurant, or retail leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
