Multi-Shift / 24-Hour Facility Role Summary We are seeking an experienced, highly accountable Warehouse Director to provide full strategic and operational leadership for a complex, high-volume warehouse operation. This senior leadership role holds end-to-end responsibility for Receiving, Inventory Control, Production, Kitting, Fulfillment, B2B, Amazon/Marketplace operations, Shipping, Safety, labor planning, and warehouse systems . The ideal candidate is a proven warehouse leader with deep Director-level experience managing multiple departments, developing supervisors and managers, driving measurable KPIs, maintaining inventory integrity, controlling labor, enforcing safety standards, and improving operational efficiency. This role requires a leader who understands how every warehouse function connects and can build a safe, disciplined, productive, and scalable operation. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Leadership & Operations Provide full operational oversight across Receiving, Inventory, Production, Kitting, Fulfillment, B2B/Marketplace, Shipping, and Safety. Lead and develop managers, supervisors, leads, and frontline teams. Establish daily priorities, staffing plans, workflows, and department expectations. Maintain visibility into productivity, staffing, inventory, safety, quality, and service levels. Identify bottlenecks, staffing gaps, process failures, and operational risks before they impact performance. Ensure departments operate as one coordinated warehouse operation rather than independent functions. Develop, maintain, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Provide clear operational reporting and recommendations to executive leadership. Production, Kitting & Fulfillment Oversee production schedules, kitting, assembly, picking, packing, and outbound shipping. Manage high-volume B2B, DTC, Amazon, and marketplace operations . Monitor productivity, units per hour, throughput, rework, downtime, backlog, and order aging. Ensure carrier deadlines and service-level expectations are met. Balance labor based on volume and operational demand. Maintain strong quality-control and order-accuracy standards. Receiving & Inventory Control Oversee inbound receiving, material verification, scanning, staging, put-away, and dock-to-stock performance. Maintain accurate physical and system inventory. Oversee cycle counts, physical inventory, inventory audits, and reconciliation. Investigate inventory variances and require root-cause corrective actions. Maintain strong controls around SKU accuracy, locations, replenishment, transfers, and inventory adjustments. Ensure all physical inventory movement is accurately reflected within ERP/WMS systems. Maintain accountability for missing, misplaced, damaged, or unidentified inventory. Warehouse Systems Candidates must have strong experience with: ERP systems WMS platforms OMS platforms Barcode scanning RF scanning Inventory-management systems Shipping systems Operational dashboards and spreadsheet analytics The Director must understand how physical warehouse activity connects to system transactions and be able to identify whether operational issues originate from process, training, inventory movement, scanning, systems, labor, or leadership. Safety & Compliance Safety is one of the highest priorities of this role. The Warehouse Director is responsible for maintaining a strong safety culture throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
Enforce OSHA and internal warehouse safety standards. Ensure appropriate PPE requirements are followed. Maintain safe aisles, racks, walkways, emergency exits, docks, and work areas. Monitor safe material-handling and lifting practices. Review incidents and near misses and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Ensure employees receive appropriate safety training. Maintain strong forklift and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety standards. Ensure operator certifications and equipment inspections are current. The operation includes chemical liquids, drums, barrels, containers, and other industrial materials .

Required Qualifications 7+ years of Director-level warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, or operations leadership experience required. Proven experience overseeing multiple warehouse departments simultaneously. Experience managing managers, supervisors, leads, and frontline employees. Strong Production experience. Strong Fulfillment experience. Strong Receiving experience. Strong Inventory Control experience. Experience with cycle counts and physical inventory. Experience with Kitting and assembly operations. Experience managing B2B operations. Experience with Amazon and/or marketplace operations. Experience with high-volume DTC/e-commerce operations. Advanced ERP and WMS experience. Experience with barcode and RF scanning. Strong KPI and operational scorecard experience. Strong labor-planning and overtime-management experience. Strong OSHA, PPE, forklift/PIT, and warehouse-safety knowledge. Working knowledge of SDS and chemical-material handling. Experience managing multi-shift or 24-hour warehouse operations. Strong root-cause analysis and process-improvement experience. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Compensation & Benefits Salary:

Candidates must have the flexibility to provide leadership coverage based on operational needs. November through January is our peak operational period. PTO availability may be limited during this period based on staffing, volume, operational demands, and leadership coverage.
