- Operations Job Description KLX Energy Services LLC provides a broad range of technical solutions and equipment to our customers.
PURPOSE:
Participates in the planning, execution, and management of all phases of any Fishing, Thru-Tubing, Reverse Unit, Air Packages, Nitrogen Services, and/ or Pressure Control operations to ensure delivery of services according to client requirements and expectations. Responsible for supervising technical services operations on well site.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Provides technical support to crew and clients at the well site; maintains communication with client well site representative, rig crew, and field support staff; communicates with internal and external clients Plans and coordinates operations utilizing technical expertise to determine the need, technique, and use of equipment on a well site Advises customer on proper procedures to perform operations and provide instruction; troubleshoots issues on well site to reduce non-productive time; supervises operations on well site Manages storage and inventories of supplies and fixed assets on the rig. Ensures work is performed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards Prepares and delivers comprehensive job documentation Trains, coaches, and mentors trainees Develops expertise on advanced techniques; participates in knowledge sharing Performs other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Less than High School EducationWork Experience:
4-6 yearsRelated Experience:
Relevant experience in open-hole and/or cased-hole operation Minimum of 2 years' relevant product line experience High mechanical aptitudeFishing/Thru-Tubing Operations:
