Job Description
The Director of Operations serves as the organization's senior operational leader and trusted strategic partner to the Owner/CEO. This role is responsible for transforming organizational vision into disciplined execution by building scalable systems, establishing operational excellence, and driving accountability across the organization. The Director of Operations oversees day-to-day business operations, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed effectively, resources are managed responsibly, and organizational goals are achieved through efficient processes, strong financial stewardship, and continuous improvement. By creating sustainable systems and empowering leaders, the Director of Operations enables the Owner/CEO to focus on long-term strategy, organizational growth, and leadership. Essential Responsibilities Executive Leadership & Strategic Partnership
- Partner with the Owner/CEO to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, measurable goals, and successful execution.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve organizational performance and ensure alignment across departments.
- Establish a culture of accountability by setting clear expectations, coaching leaders, and driving consistent follow-through.
- Identify operational risks and opportunities, providing thoughtful recommendations that support informed decision-making.
- Five or more years of progressively responsible operations or organizational leadership experience.
- Proven success leading cross-functional projects and organizational change initiatives from planning through execution.
- Experience designing and implementing operational systems, workflows, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics that improve organizational efficiency.
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial reporting, operational analysis, and resource planning.
- Experience building accountability through coaching, performance management, and organizational leadership. Required Skills & Abilities
