Job Description
Ironworks Financial is an independent financial services firm focused on helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident financial decisions through comprehensive planning, investment management, retirement planning, risk management, and wealth-building strategies. We are building a scalable, client-centered firm designed for long-term growth. We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Management Operations Director to join our team. This position will serves as the operational leader of the firm who is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities that drive efficiency, consistency accountability and growth. Lead and manage administrative and support staff. Primary Duties
- Develop and maintain service standards including developing and tracking key performance indicators across the firm.
- Coordinate workflows across advisors and support staff.
- Monitor and improve team capacity and workload distribution.
- Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures including developing and tracking key performance indicators across the firm.
- Oversee CRM utilization, workflow systems, and operational processes.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and communication.
- Ensure advisors are properly supported before, during, and after client meetings.
- Help implement growth initiatives and operational improvements.
- Establish accountability standards and performance expectations.
- Manage vendor and technology relationships.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Monitor service requests and response times.
- Participate in annual business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Support future acquisitions and integration efforts.
- Lead and manage administrative support staff.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management. Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership, operations, practice management, or business management experience
- Experience creating and implementing operational processes and service standards
- Experience within financial services, wealth management, financial planning, insurance, banking, or a related professional services industry
- Successful history building, improving and managing business processes
- Strong technology skills and comfort working with CRM and workflow systems
- Experience supporting financial advisors or professional service providers
- Experience leading teams and managing employee performance (preferred)
- Experience with business growth initiatives, acquisitions, or integration projects (preferred)
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
