Job Description

Overview Annie Rosa Head Spa is seeking an experienced, polished, and highly organized Spa Operations Director to lead the day-to-day operations of our luxury head spa. Annie Rosa is a new luxury head spa experience centered around exceptional service, relaxation, elevated scalp and hair care, and an uncompromising standard of cleanliness and guest experience. We are looking for a strong leader who understands the cosmetology industry and can help translate our vision and standards into an exceptional daily operation. Duties The Spa Operations Director will oversee the daily operation of Annie Rosa Head Spa and serve as the primary on-site leader for our Head Spa Specialists and support team. This is a hands-on leadership position combining spa operations, staff development, cosmetology expertise, training, inventory management, quality assurance, and guest experience oversight. We are seeking someone who brings both cosmetology expertise and proven leadership ability. This position is ideal for an experienced cosmetology professional who is ready to move beyond simply providing services and take on a meaningful l eadership and operational role within a growing luxury brand.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee daily spa operations and ensure services run efficiently and according to Annie Rosa standards Lead, coach, train, and support Head Spa Specialists and other spa team members Assist team members with head spa services and clinical/service-related needs when appropriate Maintain and reinforce service protocols, sanitation standards, treatment-room readiness, and operational procedures Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of professional products, supplies, linens, disposables, and other operational necessities Establish inventory controls to minimize waste, shortages, and unnecessary spending Assist with onboarding and hands-on training of new team members Monitor staff performance, professionalism, punctuality, productivity, and adherence to company standards Ensure treatment rooms and common areas consistently reflect Annie Rosa's luxury brand and cleanliness expectations Help maintain smooth guest flow, scheduling, room turnover, and daily service operations Address operational or guest-service concerns promptly and professionally Collaborate with ownership on staffing, scheduling, training, policies, service improvements, and overall spa performance Serve as a leader who protects and consistently reinforces the Annie Rosa culture and guest experience
Compensation & Schedule Annual Salary:
$69,000-$72,000 Tuesday-Sunday 2:00 PM-7:00 PM Approximately 30 scheduled on-site hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have:
A current and valid Virginia Cosmetology License Substantial professional experience within the cosmetology, salon, spa, or beauty industry Previous management, supervisory, or operational leadership experience Demonstrated experience training, coaching, and developing beauty professionals Strong knowledge of sanitation, professional cosmetology standards, and client-service expectations Excellent organizational and inventory-management skills Strong communication and problem-solving abilities The confidence to hold team members accountable while maintaining a positive and professional work environment Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine appreciation for luxury hospitality and guest care Ability and willingness to provide hands-on operational and service support when needed Join us as our

$68,969.30 - $72,382.38 per year
