Job Description
Job Description At Alaska Airlines, we are looking for a Director of Analytics & Operations to lead our analytics team and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will be pivotal in shaping our analytics strategy and ensuring that we leverage data to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, operations, and leadership, with a proven track record of delivering results through data insights. You will work closely with various departments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that align with our business goals.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead the analytics team in developing and implementing data-driven strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators and metrics. Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of operational data. Develop predictive models to forecast trends and inform decision-making. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership. Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all analytics initiatives. Manage relationships with external vendors and partners. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in analytics and operations. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities. Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.Your Profile:
Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in analytics, operations, or a related field. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in data analysis tools and software. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
