Full-Time About the Opportunity We are a trucking company operating in the oilfield logistics space, with a dedicated long-term contract providing transportation services across Wyoming. We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day trucking operations, keep our fleet running safely and efficiently, and help us continue delivering reliable service to our client. Position Summary The Operations Manager will oversee daily trucking operations in support of our Wyoming oilfield logistics contract, managing a large fleet of trucks and a small team of dispatchers. This role requires someone who can move quickly, adapt to changing field conditions, and keep operations running smoothly under the demands of oil and gas logistics work. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily dispatch, routing, and scheduling for a large fleet of trucks supporting oilfield operations in Wyoming Manage and mentor a small team of dispatchers, ensuring clear communication and accountability across shifts Ensure full compliance withDOT/FMCSA
regulations, hours-of-service rules, and company safety policies Monitor fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and driver readiness to minimize downtime Serve as one of the key points of contact for the client, addressing service needs and operational issues in real time Respond quickly and adapt plans as field conditions, well-site demands, or weather change Track and report on key operational metrics (on-time performance, safety incidents, fleet utilization, costs) Support hiring, onboarding, and training of drivers and dispatchers as the fleet grows Enforce a strong safety culture, including incident investigation and corrective action follow-through Qualifications Proven experience managing trucking operations, including a large fleet of trucks Experience in oil and gas / oilfield logistics strongly preferred Experience operating within a small, lean team where you wear multiple hats Nimble, adaptable approach — comfortable managing shifting priorities and fast-moving field conditions Strong working knowledge ofDOT/FMCSA
regulations and trucking compliance requirements Solid track record in dispatch, scheduling, and fleet/driver management Strong leadership and communication skills; able to build trust with drivers, dispatchers, and clients Ability to work on-site in Wyoming and travel to field/well-site locations as needed Valid driver's license required; CDL a plus but not required for this role The Company for this role will be confidential until further in the hiring process. Physical Requirements This position may require the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25-50 lbs (e.g., paperwork, equipment, or supplies), as well as sit, stand, and move about an office and field/yard environment for extended periods. Occasional travel to well-site or field locations, including exposure to outdoor weather conditions, may be required.
