Transportation Driver - Senior Center Converse County Senior Center |
Douglas, Wyoming Starting Pay:
$17.50/hour | Full-Time Do you enjoy helping people and making a difference in your community? Converse County Senior Center is looking for a reliable, caring, and safety-focused Transportation Driver to help seniors and community members get where they need to go safely and comfortably. Pay & Benefits Starting at $17.50/hour + Full-Time Benefits!
CCAS offers:
Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Sick Leave Medical Insurance - employee portion paid by CCAS Wyoming Retirement Pension Additional benefits in accordance with CCAS policies What You'll Do Safely transport seniors, participants, and the public throughout Douglas, Glenrock, and Casper , with occasional field trips. Provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service. Collect fares and maintain accurate ridership and transportation records. Keep vehicles clean, safe, and well-maintained. Assist riders with mobility needs, including safely securing wheelchairs and mobility devices. Communicate vehicle or passenger concerns to the Transportation Manager. Follow all safety procedures, agency policies, and driver training requirements. What We're Looking For Dependable, responsible, and safety-conscious. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Patient and respectful when working with older adults and individuals with mobility needs. Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Physically able to assist passengers and lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable driving in Wyoming weather, including snow, wind, heat, and cold. Why Join Us?
