Full Job Description Job Overview:
The Job Order clerk will support APTIM Resource Planning Branch at Redstone Arsenal by receiving work requests for the performance of maintenance or repairs to buildings/equipment initiated telephonically; evaluate requirements to determine if they are in the scope of the contract; refer non-contractual items to the appropriate agency; document and maintain standard instructions for common trouble call requests; determine response dates/times of work performance; provide work status to requestors; and execute all work tasks assigned by the Resource Planning Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
Receive and analyze work requirements based on technical knowledge of facility/utility systems Determine actual need and shop resources capability to perform. Reviews requirements against other scheduled and planned work to eliminate duplication. Verifies that customers are authorized to submit job order requests. Ascertains that all information required for processing job orders has been provided. Verifies job order (JON) is valid for charging labor hours and parts to responsible organization with direction from Resource Planning Supervisor. Generates Maintenance Connection (MC) job orders. Forwards job orders to appropriate shop for maintenance/repair actions. Complete work orders in MC and make parallel entries in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS and Army Maintenance Activity (ArMA). Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work overtime as required. Work cooperatively with others. Interact with employees and others in the workplace in an appropriate manner Use a computer for tasks such as communicating by email and preparing reports and work schedules using Microsoft software. Review and analyze date and information concerning GFEBS, ARAMA, and MAC. Plans prioritize and monitor work assignments. Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Timely, accurate, cost-effective performance of duties. Timely completion and accuracy of all departmental work. Working closely and harmoniously with other departments. Dealing with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. Compliant with company standard operating procedures and personnel policies and procedures. Working independently with minimum supervision. Having the ability to work well under pressure. Has authority to contact or respond to craftsmen, supervisors, and customers for input or clarification on specific problems. Has authority to perform all tasks/functions required accomplished assigned duties in accordance with the ISS contract and corporate procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
Real ID Required. Minimum years of experience acceptable for role: 1-3 Years Valid State Driver's License Meet requirements for: pre-employment physical, drug screening, background check, and MVR check (MVR points are subject to company policy) Obtain and maintain Common Access Card (CAC) and National Agency Check (NAC) as required by contract. Possess a demonstrated experience in resource coordination and familiarity with broad range of multi-function government installation maintenance activities supporting critical missions. Minimum 2 years of working in organization performing various maintenance services serving a large commercial/government installation. Requires skills necessary to deal with customers in a cooperative and tactful manner. Working knowledge of common computer applications such as spreadsheets databases, word processing, and email. Ability to work shifts of at least 8hours, and occasionally longer, 5 days per week. Ability to stand for prolonged periods. Ability to sit for prolonged periods. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in cold/hot/dusty/loud environment. Ability to work in office environment. Ability to receive and understand direction from supervision and management.

Compensation depends on several factors including experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
