Overview The product handler is responsible for completing assigned duties of the raw and finished good operation ensuring the proper receipt, placement, and distribution of inventory and work order closure and yield reporting. The product handler must have attention to detail and the ability to work in a team environment. Speed, accuracy, & organizational skills are necessary. This position reports directly to the Processing Manager. distribution, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management within a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities RF-Scanner/Data Entry Utilize RF scanner to allocate raw material and receive finished goods to the appropriate production schedule in Canopy/ERP. Return partials of raw material to inventory at completion of work order. Ensure proper raw material is coded the correct Production Entry. Ensure that at the end of the shift- no production entry is open (Close production entry with RF-scanner. Update all data related to production- Production performance report to and proper documentation on yield. Pre-Staging and Tampering Maintain product packaging consistently with proper food safety handling and within all specifications. Ensure proper stock rotation, refrigeration, and tempering requirements to avoid damage or spoilage of product. Tamper product temperature verification. Communicate via email about any issues with tampered products, or temperature. Stage all finished products for the warehouse staff to allocate to customer orders. Ensure that all tampered products for grind are pre-stage, and ready for use. Ensure adherence to tampering process, and cold chain requirements. Ensure that all products product that need to be 4-block is done. Food Safety/Safety Practice GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and OSHA regulations always. Follow lift safety procedures Follow forklift, pallet jack,liftreach, scales within safety regulations Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving, or related roles Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks,reach lift, scales Strong understanding of inventory management systems and materials handling techniques Manual handling skills with a focus on safety protocol adherence under OSHA guidelines Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately Experience with RF scanners for order picking and inventory updates Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards Join us as a Product Handler and play a crucial role in keeping our warehouse running smoothly!
