The Role:

The Seasonal Order Entry Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely entry of customer orders across various platforms, ensuring order integrity and seamless processing through the production and fulfillment pipeline during our busy holiday season. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency by verifying product details, pricing, and shipping information, while proactively identifying and addressing potential issues that may impact order flow.

What You'll Do:

Review and enter orders received through multiple channels, including web, email, fax, Order All, EDI, and CHC, with a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in item numbers, pricing, and shipping information. Maintain efficiency and consistency in order processing to meet daily volume and timing expectations. Identify and resolve discrepancies or common data errors using basic problem-solving skills and escalate issues when appropriate. Communicate effectively—both verbally and in writing—with internal teams and external partners to clarify order details and address concerns in a professional manner. Proactively report any delays or challenges that could impact order accuracy or turnaround times. Participate actively in departmental meetings and contribute suggestions for continuous improvement and workflow enhancements. Maintain working knowledge of key order processing systems, including Web Importer, MAS, Transaction Manager, and Boomerang, and demonstrate system proficiency in navigating them. Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to data security and confidentiality best practices. Support documentation and reporting tasks related to order entry accuracy, including monthly error tracking. Work collaboratively with team members, demonstrating a team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist others as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all data entry tasks. Effective at managing time and workflow in a fast-paced environment. Clear and professional communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with ERP systems and EDI platforms is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required.
