Job Title:

Office ClerkJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Clerk to join a growing team in a professional office environment. In this role, you enter and process customer orders, set up and maintain new customer accounts, and ensure all order information is accurate before release. You review and verify account information, part numbers, pricing, routing instructions, and special order requirements while delivering excellent customer service. You serve as a key support resource within the office and perform cross-functional administrative duties, including customer interaction, invoice support, and general office responsibilities. Responsibilities

+ Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently in the order entry system.

+ Set up and maintain customer accounts, ensuring all information is complete and up to date.

+ Verify account information, pricing, part numbers, routing instructions, and special order requirements before releasing orders.

+ Review and follow routing and shipping instructions and accommodate special customer requests when applicable.

+ Process and distribute order confirmations to customers and internal stakeholders.

+ Support invoice-related activities, including preparing and verifying documentation for billing.

+ Provide responsive customer service and administrative assistance via phone, email, and in person as needed.

+ Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation for orders, accounts, and invoices.

+ Perform general office duties such as reception support, front-office assistance, and other clerical tasks.

+ Collaborate with team members to support multiple functions including order processing, invoicing, reception, and customer service.

+ Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.

+ Meet established deadlines and productivity expectations in a fast-paced environment. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of experience in order entry, order processing, or clerical support.

+ Proven experience processing customer orders and verifying order details for accuracy.

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

+ Ability to type at least 45 words per minute with high accuracy.

+ Experience setting up and maintaining customer accounts in office or ERP systems.

+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.

+ Effective multitasking abilities and comfort handling multiple priorities at once.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines.

+ Customer service experience with a focus on professionalism and clear communication.

+ Reliable organizational skills to maintain records and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred.

+ Background supporting customer service functions in an office setting.

+ Invoice processing experience and knowledge of accounts payable procedures.

+ Knowledge of routing and shipping instructions and related documentation.

+ Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage competing tasks.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

+ Ability to wear multiple hats and support various functions within a small team environment.

+ Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while remaining collaborative.

+ Reception or front-office experience providing administrative and customer-facing support. Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position in a professional office setting. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You join a team of approximately 30 employees where team members may support multiple functions, including order processing, invoicing, reception, and customer service. The environment is fast-paced yet collaborative, with opportunities to take on varied responsibilities and contribute across the office. The organization offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health coverage with medical premiums paid at 100%, low-cost dental and vision plans, and paid holidays upon conversion to permanent employment. Paid time off is accrued weekly, with the option to roll over or cash out at the end of the year. The office maintains a professional dress code, with the added perk of dress-down Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Miami Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
