In this role, you will welcome customers, take and prepare orders, craft coffee beverages, operate the POS system, handle payments, and help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate has previous experience working in a coffee shop, bakery, café, restaurant, or similar food-service environment and is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Flexible availability is required. Candidates must be available to work morning and/or evening shifts, as well as weekends, based on scheduling needs. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages while maintaining quality and presentation standards. Serve bakery items and other food products and assist with order preparation and assembly. Operate the cash register and POS system accurately and efficiently. Process cash, credit card, and other customer payments securely. Answer customer questions about menu items and provide helpful recommendations when appropriate. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house and service area. Clean and maintain coffee equipment, counters, workstations, and supplies. Restock products, cups, utensils, and other service items as needed. Work cooperatively with other team members to provide fast and efficient service. Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, and workplace safety procedures. Required Experience & Qualifications Previous experience in a coffee shop, bakery, café, restaurant, or food-service environment is required . Previous experience with cash handling, cash registers, and POS systems is required . Flexible availability is required, including the ability to work morning and/or evening shifts and weekends as scheduled. Strong customer service and communication skills. Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team. Willingness to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. Must speak English. Spanish is a plus.
